What is Cuttle Core?
Cuttle Core is an Australian coastal brand making practical beach gear with a little more colour and character. We make things for people who spend their time by the sea and want what they take with them to be useful without looking overly technical or taking itself too seriously.
Our first product, The Cuttle Hood, came from wanting more from the humble beach towel. We wanted something you could dry off in, change underneath, throw on after a swim and keep wearing once you leave the beach. Something that could open out when you need a towel, then pack away when you're ready to go.
That thinking carries through everything we make. We care about the details that make something work better, but just as much about how it looks and feels. Good colour, useful features and products that earn their place in the car or beach bag.
Why We Started
MADE FOR DAYS AROUND THE WATER.
Cuttle Core came from wanting beach gear that could keep up with the whole day, rather than just the time spent on the sand.
A swim, something to eat, a coffee, a walk, another dip. The best days tend to move around a bit, so we wanted to make things that could do the same.
The Cuttle Hood is our first take on that idea: a towel you can wear, a changing layer you can actually move around in and something you can keep on when the beach day carries on.

Cuttle Core is inspired by life by the coast and designed in Australia, with a focus on useful gear for warm days, ocean swims and everything that happens before and after them.
We like practical things, but we don't think practical needs to mean boring. Colour, character and a few well-considered details can make something you use every weekend that much better.
What We're About
FROM WATER TO EVERYWHERE
We make things for the parts of the day that don't fit neatly into a beach bag. Products that work when you're swimming, useful when you're getting changed and good enough to keep wearing once you've left the sand.
We're starting with beach gear, but the idea is bigger than the beach. Make something useful, make it look good and give it a reason to come with you.
